Für eine Ausstellung zum Thema "Väter - Alltagsszenen" im November suchen wir Fotos aus dem Genre Streetphotography. Die Ausstellung entsteht in Kooperation mit der Städtischen Bibliotheken Dresden und wird gefördert durch die Landeshauptstadt Dresden. Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung findet vor der Lesung "Vatersein - Warum wir neue Väter brauchen" von Tillmann Prüfer (stellvertretender Chefredakteur des ZEITmagazins) am 08.11.23 statt.

Mit der Einsendung deiner Fotografie erkennst du die unten stehenden Teilnahmebedingungen an.

We are looking for pictures for an exhibition in November. Theme: "Fathers - everyday scenes". Genre: Streephotography. The exhibition is made in cooperation with Städtische Bibliotheken Dresden and is funded by the State Capital Dresden.

By participtating in the Open Call you acknowledge the condition written below.

Open Call closes 11th August 2023.

Die Teilnahme am Open Call „Väter – Alltagszenen“ des Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. richtet sich nach folgenden Bedingungen.
1. Veranstalter, Teilnahme
 
(1) Der Open Call „Väter – Alltagszenen“ wird durch den Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. veranstaltet.
(2) Ein/e Teilnehmer*in nimmt am Fotowettbewerb teil, indem sie/er sein Bild (max. 1)  als digitale Bilddatei mit dem Versand an die Open-Call-E-Mail-Adresse einreicht. Mit dem Versand des Bildes/der Bilder an die Wettbewerbs-E-Mail erklärt sich der/die Teilnehmer*in mit den Teilnahmebedingungen und den Datenschutzbedingungen (siehe Punkt 8 der Teilnahmebedingungen) einverstanden.
(3) Die Teilnahme hat innerhalb der im Fotowettbewerb genannten Frist zu erfolgen. Zur Überprüfung der Fristwahrung dient der elektronisch protokollierte Eingang beim Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V.
2. Teilnehmer*innen
 
(1) Teilnehmen können sowohl Amateurfotograf*innen als auch professionelle Fotograf*innen.
(2) Zur Teilnahme am Fotowettbewerb ist unbedingt erforderlich, dass sämtliche Personenangaben der Wahrheit entsprechen. Andererseits kann ein Ausschluss gemäß Punkt 6 erfolgen.
3. Weitere Teilnahme-Voraussetzungen, Ablauf und Inhalte
 
(1) Jede/r Teilnehmer*in darf 1 Bild einreichen. Das Bild muss als Anhang in einer E-Mail in digitalem JPEG-Format eingereicht werden. Die Umsetzung des Themas soll durch die Stilrichtung „Streetphotography“ erfolgen und der/die Teilnehmer*in versichert, dass das eingereichte Bild ungestellt ist.
(2) Das eingereichte Bild/die Bilder müssen für die Einreichung an open-call@mnw-dd.de geschickt werden und dabei mit folgenden Angaben versehen werden:
    • Vorname und Name
    • Wohnort
    • Bildtitel, Aufnahmeort
    • homepage und Instahandle (freiwillig)
(3) Ein eingereichtes Bild sollte auf der langen Seite mindestens 4000Pixel haben, Die Dateigröße darf 15 Megabyte nicht überschreiten.
 
(4) Die Nachbearbeitung der Bilder mit einem entsprechenden Programm (z.B. Adobe Photoshop oder Adobe Lightroom) ist erlaubt, solange der ursprüngliche Charakter des Motives erhalten bleibt. Nicht erlaubt sind Collagen und die Erzeugung von Bildern mit K.I.
(5) Die Teilnahme ist ausschließlich über den Versand an die E-Mail-Adresse open-call@mnw-dd.de unter Angabe der unter 3.2 genannten Angaben möglich. Anderweitig eingesandte Beiträge sind nicht zugelassen und werden nicht zurückgeschickt. Analog fotografierte Bilder können als Scan geschickt werden.

(6) Die Teilnehmer*innen erklären sich mit der Nutzung und Speicherung ihrer Daten allein zu Zwecken dieses Fotowettbewerbs einverstanden.
 
(7) Die im Rahmen des Fotowettbewerbs eingereichten Bilder dürfen nicht als obszön, beleidigend, diffamierend, ethisch anstößig, gewaltverherrlichend, pornografisch, belästigend, für Minderjährige ungeeignet, rassistisch, volksverhetzend, ausländerfeindlich, rechtsradikal und/oder als sonst verwerflich anzusehen sein. Das Einreichen entsprechender Bilder zieht den Ausschluss vom Fotowettbewerb gemäß Punkt 6 dieser Teilnahmebedingungen nach sich.

(8) Das Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. behält sich vor, hochgeladene Bilder nach der Veröffentlichung ohne Angabe von Gründen zu löschen.
5. Nutzungsrechte, Haftungs-Freistellung durch den Teilnehmer
(1) Alle Teilnehmer*innen räumen dem Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. an den eingereichten Bildern zur Durchführung des Wettbewerbs, dessen Bewerbung sowie der Berichterstattung darüber vergütungsfrei die räumlich und zeitlich unbeschränkten, nicht ausschließlichen Nutzungsrechte ein, einschließlich dem Recht, das Bild für den Abdruck zu optimieren und im Rahmen einer Ausstellung zu zeigen. Gleichgültig ist dabei, in welchen Medien dies geschieht, also u. a. Print, Online, filmisch und Social Media Portale wie z.B. Instagram und Facebook. Ebenfalls umfasst ist die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für den Wettbewerb und Ausstellungen mit den ausgewählten Bildern, wie beispielsweise Ausstellungsplakate, Einladungen, E-Cards sowie ggf. den Wettbewerb begleitende Kataloge und Bücher.
(2) Ein so verwendetes Bild wird vom Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. mit dem entsprechenden copyright wie folgt versehen: "Vorname Nachname".
(3) Der/die Teilnehmer*in sichert zu, dass er/sie über die vorstehenden Rechte verfügen kann und dass das eingereichte Bild allein von ihm/ihr persönlich stammt, er/sie über alle Rechte am eingereichten Bild verfügt, die uneingeschränkten Verwertungsrechte aller Bildteile hat, dass das Bild frei von Rechten Dritter ist sowie bei der Darstellung von Personen keine Persönlichkeitsrechte verletzt werden. Bei darin abgebildeten Personen, Werken, Kennzeichen oder sonstigen Gegenständen hat der/die Teilnehmer*in die erforderlichen Zustimmungen von den Betroffenen eingeholt. Der/die Teilnehmer*in wird Vorstehendes auf Wunsch schriftlich versichern. Sollten dennoch Dritte Ansprüche wegen Verletzung ihrer Rechte geltend machen, so stellt der/die Teilnehmer*in den Veranstalter von allen Ansprüchen frei.
6. Vorzeitige Beendigung des Fotowettbewerbs und Ausschluss vom Wettbewerb
(1) Der Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. behält sich vor, den Fotowettbewerb zu jedem Zeitpunkt ohne Vorankündigung und ohne Angabe von Gründen zu unterbrechen oder zu beenden. Von dieser Möglichkeit macht der Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. insbesondere dann Gebrauch, wenn der planmäßige Ablauf gestört oder behindert wird, wie etwa bei Hacker-Angriffen auf die Website, aus technischen Gründen (z.B. Viren im Computersystem, Manipulation oder Fehler in der Hard- und/oder Software) oder aus rechtlichen Gründen, wenn eine ordnungsgemäße Durchführung des open call nicht gewährleistet werden kann.
(2) Der Veranstalter behält sich vor, Teilnehmer*innen vom Open Call auszuschließen z.B. bei Verstoß gegen die Teilnahmebedingungen.
(3) Ausgeschlossen werden auch Personen, die sich unerlaubter Hilfsmittel bedienen oder sich anderweitig durch Manipulation Vorteile verschaffen.
(4) Ausgeschlossen wird auch, wer unwahre Personenangaben macht.
7. Haftung

(1) Der Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. übernimmt keine Haftung für den Verlust oder eventuelle Beschädigungen an den eingereichten Bildern.
8. Datenschutz
 
(1) Um am Fotowettbewerb teilnehmen zu können, ist es unerlässlich, bei Einreichung Daten zu übermitteln und die geltende Datenschutzerklärung zu akzeptieren. Es steht allen Teilnehmer*innen jederzeit frei, per Widerruf unter open-call@mnw-dd.de von der Teilnahme zurückzutreten. (2) Die von den Einsendern eingereichten Bilder werden zum Zwecke einer Veröffentlichung durch beteiligte Dritte (Zeitschriftenredaktionen oder Ausstellungsorganisatoren) ausschließlich im Rahmen des Fotowettbewerbs (Berichterstattung hierüber etc.) weitergegeben. Der/die Teilnehmer*in erklärt sich ausdrücklich hiermit einverstanden. Das Bild wird dabei mit einem Urheberhinweis entsprechend 5.2 versehen: „Vorname Nachname".
(3) Die von den Teilnehmer*innen eingegebenen Daten werden ausschließlich zur Durchführung des Wettbewerbs und der damit verbundenen Öffentlichkeitsarbeit gespeichert und nach Zweckerreichung wieder gelöscht. Eine Übermittlung an Dritte und eine eigene werbliche Nutzung der Daten erfolgt nicht.
9. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen. Es gilt deutsches Recht.

Participation in the open call "Fathers - Everyday Scenes" of the Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. is based on the following conditions.

1. Organizer, Participation
(1) The Open Call "Fathers - Everyday Scenes" is organized by the Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. (2) A participant takes part in the photo competition by submitting his/her picture (max. 1) as a digital image file to be sent to the Open Call e-mail address. By sending the image(s) to the competition email, the participant agrees to the conditions of participation and the data protection conditions (see point 8 of the conditions of participation).
(3) Participation must take place within the period specified in the photo competition. The electronically logged receipt at the Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. is used to check that the deadline has been met.

2. Participants
(1) Both amateur photographers and professional photographers can participate.
(2) In order to participate in the photo competition, it is absolutely necessary that all personal details are correct. On the other hand, an exclusion according to point 6 can take place.
3. Other participation requirements, process and content
(1) Each participant may submit 1 picture. The image must be submitted as an attachment in an email in digital JPEG format. The topic is to be implemented using the “Streetphotography” style. The participant assures that the submitted picture is not posed.
(2) The submitted image(s) must be sent to open-call@mnw-dd.de for submission and include the following information: • First name and last name • Residence • Image title, location • homepage and Instahandle (voluntary)
(3) A submitted image should have at least 4000 pixels on the long side, the file size must not exceed 15 megabytes.
(4) Post-processing of the images with an appropriate program (e.g. Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom) is permitted as long as the original character of the motif is retained. Collages and the creation of images with A.I. are not permitted.
(5) Participation is only possible by sending the e-mail address open-call@mnw-dd.de, stating the information mentioned under 3.2. Contributions sent in any other way will not be accepted and will not be returned. Analogue photographed images can be sent as a scan.
(6) The participants agree to the use and storage of their data solely for the purposes of this photo competition.
(7) The images submitted as part of the photo competition must not be viewed as obscene, insulting, defamatory, ethically objectionable, glorifying violence, pornographic, harassing, unsuitable for minors, racist, hate speech, xenophobic, right-wing extremist and/or otherwise reprehensible. Submission of corresponding images will result in exclusion from the photo competition in accordance with Item 6 of these Conditions of Participation.
(8) The Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. reserves the right to delete uploaded images after publication without giving reasons.

5. Rights of Use, Release from Liability by the Participant
(1) All participants grant the Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. the spatially and temporally unrestricted, non-exclusive rights of use to the submitted images for the implementation of the competition, its application and reporting on it free of charge, including the right to optimize the image for printing and to show it in an exhibition. It doesn't matter in which media this happens, e.g. Print, online, cinematic and social media portals such as Instagram and Facebook. Also included is the public relations work for the competition and exhibitions with the selected pictures, such as exhibition posters, invitations, e-cards and, if necessary, the catalogs and books accompanying the competition.
(2) An image used in this way is provided with the corresponding copyright by the Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. as follows: "First name, last name".
(3) The participant assures that he/she can dispose of the above rights and that the submitted image originates solely from him/her personally, that he/she has all rights to the submitted image, the unrestricted exploitation rights of all Image parts has that the image is free of third-party rights and that no personal rights are violated in the depiction of people. In the case of persons, works, license plates or other objects depicted therein, the participant has obtained the necessary consent from those affected. The participant will confirm the above in writing if requested. Should third parties nevertheless assert claims for violation of their rights, the participant indemnifies the organizer from all claims.

6. Early termination of the photo competition and disqualification from the competition
(1) The Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. reserves the right to cancel the photo competition at any time without prior notice and without specifying the reasons to interrupt or terminate. The Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. makes use of this option in particular if the scheduled process is disrupted or impeded, such as in the event of hacker attacks on the website, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons if proper execution of the open call cannot be guaranteed.
(2) The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the open call, e.g. if they violate the conditions of participation.
(3) Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation are also excluded.
(4) Anyone who provides untrue personal information will also be excluded.

7. Liability
(1) The Männernetzwerk Dresden e.V. assumes no liability for the loss of or any damage to the submitted images.

8. Privacy
(1) In order to be able to take part in the photo competition, it is essential to submit data upon submission and to accept the applicable data protection declaration. All participants are free at any time to withdraw from participation by sending an email to open-call@mnw-dd.de. The data protection conditions can be found at https://www.mnw-dd.de/datenschutz.html
(2) The photos submitted by the senders will be passed on for the purpose of publication by participating third parties (magazine editors or exhibition organizers) exclusively within the framework of the photo competition (reporting on this, etc.). The participant expressly agrees to this. The image is provided with a copyright notice in accordance with 5.2: "First name, last name". (3) The data entered by the participants will only be saved to carry out the competition and the associated public relations work and will be deleted again after the purpose has been achieved. A transmission to third parties and an own advertising use of the data does not take place.

9. Legal recourse is excluded. German law applies.
